ORR Family Reunification Packet for Sponsors 

Sponsors, parents, or legal guardians interested in applying for the release of a child from ORR custody to their care, are required to fill out an application and complete supporting documentation in the Family Reunification Packet (FRP). A case manager will be assigned to assist sponsors and their families with the release process. Help is also available 24/7 at ORR’s National Call Center — Call 1-800-203-7001 or email information@ORRNCC.com.

ORR does not charge any fees for the family reunification application, although a sponsor may be responsible for costs related to a child’s travel. If you have been asked to pay for a child’s release from ORR, you may be the target of fraud and should report it to law enforcement.
