Introduction

The Strengthening the Implementation of Marriage and Relationship Programs (SIMR) project aims to identify key implementation challenges facing healthy marriage and relationship education (HMRE) programs and, in close collaboration with HMRE programs and their staff, test potential solutions to those challenges using rapid-learning techniques.

Purpose

The document provides information for HMRE programs about participating in the SIMR project. SIMR will be recruiting programs to work collaboratively with a team of HMRE program experts to strengthen recruitment, retention, and client engagement efforts. This document describes the benefit to programs of participating, the timeline for selecting program sites, and how interested programs can get involved in SIMR.

Key Findings and Highlights

Those who know a program that would like to be considered for the SIMR project can send an email to the SIMR team at SIMR@mathematica-mpr.com by October 23, 2020. The email should include the name of the interested program, contact information, links to a program or organization website, and a short description of why SIMR may be of interest to the program.
