Date: November 26, 2014 |
Dear Colleagues:
As a result of a competitive procurement process, the Office of Community Services (OCS) has awarded a contract to Briljent for Training and Technical Assistance support for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) in FY 2015. They have excellent credentials and we are happy to be working with them. Briljent will assist OCS with:
- Planning the content for a National Training Conference;
- Developing and presenting webinars;
- Organizing and coordinating a Peer-to-Peer mentoring process; and
- Providing On Site Technical Assistance relating to monitoring site visit issues.
The first webinar will be at 3:30 pm Eastern Time (ET) on Thursday, December 11. Please mark your calendars and plan to participate. You will receive advance materials and call-in information via email from our contactor, Briljent.
This webinar is especially for tribal grantees. It will focus on the role that Tribal Leadership have in helping the LIHEAP Director administer a successful program of benefits for low income constituents. We hope that tribal leaders can join the webinar presentation and discussion. There will be opportunities for questions and comments. Successful LIHEAP programs are characterized by strong support from tribal leaders with all parties understanding their respective roles and how to work together productively.
Information and schedules for the other activities with be forthcoming. For any technical assistance questions, you may always contact your federal liaison in our office. The contact information is available on our web site at: /programs/ocs/resource/division-of-energy-assi...
