The Rural Community Development (RCD) program presents stories of how regional and tribal technical assistance grant recipients help rural communities across the country gain and maintain access to clean, safe, and affordable water and wastewater services.

RCD is dedicated to reducing the causes and consequences of poverty, increasing opportunity and the economic security of individuals and families, and revitalizing communities. For over 50 years, RCD has been filling gaps in ensuring safe water and wastewater services for very small, rural, low-income communities that are not addressed by other federal programs.
