The FY 2014 state reports detail expenditures from each of the CCDF funding streams (Mandatory, Matching, and Discretionary), as well as funds transferred from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program to CCDF. Included are expenditures for administration, direct and non-direct services, and quality activities including congressionally mandated targeted funds for:  (1) Child Care and Quality Improvement Activities; (2) Infant and Toddler Quality Improvement; and (3) Child Care Resource and Referral and School Age Care.

The FFY 2001 appropriations law contains over $817 million in additional FFY 2001 Discretionary CCDF funds.

The FY 2006 appropriations law authorizes $2.062 billion in CCDF Discretionary Funds.

The Omnibus Appropriations Act, 2009 provides funding for multiple Federal agencies through the end of Federal fiscal year (FFY) 2009.
