DEAR COLLEAGUE LETTER

DCL-21-04

DATE: June 15, 2021

TO: State IV-D Directors

SUBJECT: OCSE Data Center Migration

Dear Colleague:

As part of OCSE’s modernization efforts, we are migrating our data center to a new location. This will affect all states accessing the OCSE Child Support Portal or using batch applications because virtual private network (VPN) connections must be transitioned to the new location.

This work will begin on June 15, 2021. States are required to migrate to the new environment by December 15, 2021, or risk losing access to the Portal and batch file exchanges, such as electronic income withholding orders. OCSE will work closely with state technical resources to transition VPN connections.

We will email you by June 15 to outline the process and the data our technical team needs to complete the work without interrupting your state’s VPN connection. Please make sure your current technical contact information, both primary and secondary, is provided on the form in the email. Return this form to the OCSE Portal Help Desk at csportal@acf.hhs.gov.

If you have questions about the OCSE data center migration, transitioning state VPN connections, or updates to your technical contact information, email the OCSE Portal Help Desk at the email address noted above.

Sincerely,

Linda Boyer
Acting Commissioner
Office of Child Support Enforcement
