This Program Instruction sets forth the requirements for recipients of Community-Based Grants for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect awards for FY 2023; and (2) provide guidance and instructions for the preparation and submission of the application and annual reports.

The purpose of this PI is to set forth the eligibility requirements and the grant application
procedures for FY 2023 Children’s Justice Act (CJA) grants and to provide the tentative State
allocation table.

This Information Memorandum presents guidance to agencies administering Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention programs and Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act State Grants on the use of supplemental funding provided under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
